Fix blocked mod APK installs on Android

Blocked install? Walk through the usual culprits in order.
Allow installs from CroakerMod
Android blocks installs from unknown sources by default. When prompted, allow the CroakerMod app to install packages (Settings → Apps → CroakerMod → Install unknown apps). You only do this once — it covers every game you install afterward.
Read the Play Protect warning
Play Protect may flag a modded APK as unknown or harmful because its signature differs from the Play Store build. This is expected for any modded package. If you downloaded through the official CroakerMod app, the file is the signed build we published — review the warning, then proceed only if you trust the source.
Free space and a clean download
Installs fail silently when storage runs out — Android needs the APK size plus working room, so keep at least 1 GB free. On slow networks the download can also corrupt; delete the partial file in the app and retry on stable Wi-Fi before trying anything drastic.
Check the Android version
CroakerMod supports Android 9 and above. On older devices the installer refuses the package outright. Check Settings → About phone → Android version; if the device is below 9, the game cannot be installed no matter what else you try.
